4 Deathwish Skateboards To Pick Up in 2016 - Skateshop Review

One of the premier skate brands getting into skate shops near me is that of Deathwish. You know the brand, they are rough and tumble boarders that take on a serious approach to skateboard design and graphics. If you haven’t seen these at your local skate shop, or you’re thinking about searching online for skateshop options that carry these, you may be out of luck.

If you cannot find these 4 Deathwish skateboards at a skate shop near you, then it’s time to go online. The following are just 4 picks that you should consider when picking options from Deathwish, and can order them online and have them shipped to you.

Deathwish Dickson Story Time Skateboard Deck - 8.25"

Up front is the Deathwish Dickson Story Time Skateboard Deck - 8.25". This is a good overall sized skateboard, and you may see it in skate videos from the Deathwish crew. Chances are you will want to use this one at skate parks because of the size and the shape overall. It’s a solid 8.25” wide option that has a lot of upside overall. You can pick up the Deathwish Dickson Story Time Skateboard Deck - 8.25" at a skate shop, or click HERE and order it online.

DEATHWISH Skateboard Deck - MOOSE LOW LIFE FORM 8.125

The second option that you may see at a local skate shop is one that lampoons Alf. This is for those that like to smoke, like the 1980s, and are fans of Alf. Alf on a skateboard! You will love this skateboard design, no doubt, and something that you have to see to believe, as it really pushes a great overall design. If your skateshop isn’t carrying the DEATHWISH Skateboard Deck - MOOSE LOW LIFE FORM 8.125, then click here and order it online.

Deathwish Lizard King Destroyed Skateboard Deck - 8.38" x 31.75"

This is a funny graphic from Lizard King, and it features a throwback to Kiss. I’m not sure if Kiss is aware that their style is getting made fun of or paid tribute to from Deathwish skateboards. I haven’t seen this at any skate shops near me, but hey, that’s just because I live in a weird spot. If you’re looking to pick up a new skate, then this one is a great one for heshers that like to hit skateparks and hit vert a lot. This is not a great street board, but then again, it depends on your preference. The Deathwish Lizard King Destroyed Skateboard Deck - 8.38" x 31.75" can be picked up at a local skate shop or you could click here to order it online.

Deathwish Lizard King Ratchet Zombie Skateboard Deck - 8" x 31.5"

Deathwish puts out a solid deck with the Deathwish Lizard King Ratchet Zombie Skateboard Deck - 8" x 31.5". This is another one that you’re going to love, especially if you don’t see this in your local skate shop. I can testify that I didn’t see this at any skate shops near me, but again, I live in a black hole. Skate parks will proably not like you having this one, as parents will cry. But if you see the Deathwish Lizard King Ratchet Zombie Skateboard Deck - 8" x 31.5" at a skateshop, pick it up. It’s a good deck. If you don’t see it at any skate shop, then click here and order it online.

There you have it. There are 4 skate options from Deathwish that you will want to pick up in 2016. I don’t see these at skate shops near me, but you may see them at skate parks and skate shop options near you.

Primitive Skateboards The Biggie Promo Montage Edit Video

Primitive Skateboards Presents - The Biggie Montage
Primitive Skateboards put out one hell of an edit, with their promo video featuring some of the riders on the P Rod skate company. The riders include Diego Najera, Trent McClung, Devine Calloway, Carlos Ribeiro, Shane O'Neill and Nick Tucker, and the skateboard tricks flow through the streets of Los Angeles. I used to live down the street from many of these spots, as I was in K-Town for a while. Anyways, check out Primitive Skateboards Biggie Promo after the jump and support independent skateboarding brands, or don't, what do I care? I kid. I kid.

If you have not been hearing a lot from Element, it's most likely because they aren't getting published by the bigwigs of Youtube skateboarding. Or perhaps you already did see this, but who knows. Adventures in Stereo: Atlanta With Jason Lee and Chris Pastras Video HD

Stereo Skateboards Took A Road Trip To Atlanta - Featuring Jason Lee and Chris Pastras
Jason Lee used to skateboard down the street from my school. I saw him skateboard before I even knew who he was. He would hit the Santa Monica Mall before it turned into an open air piece of yuppie garbage. You know, right where 3rd street met up with the mall, well there was a nice 3 step rail. Active Ride Shop now has a store near there, but I'll digress.

This is a cool road trip featuring Jason Lee and Chris Pastras as they venture through the world of Atlanta, in Stereo. You can pick up Stereo Skateboard decks by clicking here, and watch the video for inspiration.

Baker Skateboards x Scion Skateboarding Video

Baker Skateboards x Scion Skateboarding Video
Let me just say, that all this week I've been trying to wrap my head around selling out and skateboarding. Then I see this video. I guess we are living in a different world. I grew up with brands not going corporate, and well, today? Skateboarding and big corporations are in bed together. This is a stellar video, even though I can't stand behind corporations buying their way into Skateboarding. Then again, I have bills and these guys do too, so if it pays, why not?

I don't know. I'm conflicted. Baker Skateboards and Scion pulls through one hell of a trip in this video, so maybe it's not so bad? I don't know. Check it out, skate and destroy.

On The Road With Krux In Kroatia HD Video

On The Road With Krux In Kroatia Video
Krux recently went on a road trip to Kroatia, yes that Kroatia, and pulled through some incredible footage. The Krux team really killed it, and this edit is proof that the guys are at their all time best. I'm impressed, and it's only 6 minutes. It's 6 minutes and it's definitely something grand. Once again, this makes me want to hit the streets, and see all the spots I'm missing in this great city. After you watch this, hit the road, skate, and destroy.

Adidas Far and Away Episode 6 HD Skateboarding Video

Adidas Far and Away Episode 6

Adidas skateboarding has been on a tear lately. They released this video "Far and Away" episode 6, in which they detail a backyard skateboard park. This is what I want in my home, to be honest. If I ever get a house, I would love to have this in place. Adidas may be a big company, but they seem to be pushing skateboarding culture in a lot of different ways. I don't know, it's hard to hate on this.
