Alien Workshop 2019 Fall Skateboard Decks on Sale Now

Away we go, the Area 51 raid is cancelled, but you can get your skate on with these fine boards from Alien Workshop. Of all of the brands that came through the 1990s, one of the ones that I saw a lot of was in fact Toy Machine skateboards and Alien Workshop skateboards. The two companies were putting out cool graphics, and of course, the alien heads is definitely a major player in this. While the company has changed hands several times, and even Rob Dyrdek was in on it, it's nice to see that the company hasn't completely blown themselves out of the water, and we are still getting quality wood from them.

As such, you're going to want to check out the boards that come through from Alien Workshop below. If you like them, you know where to get them, by clicking here, or the buy now button. These are my favorites from the Fall 2019 skateboard series coming out of the midwest skateboard company. If you're a fan of Alien Workshop, then you're going to want to get in on these boards before they get pulled, as you know they are only available at shops or online for a limited amount of time.

Girl Skateboards Malto 93 Skateboard Deck Review

Girl Skateboards has been around for a long time, and you already know that. Well, here's a deck from the classic logo design that made them famous back in the early 1990s. This is a Sean Malto skateboard deck from Girl Skateboards, and it's formed in that classic, no nonsense style that you expect from the girl crew. Malto's one of those skateboarders that brings a lot to the table in terms of skateboarding, and style. The Sean Malto pro deck from girl skateboards gives you nice concave, a good pop, and strong layered design. If you're already going to pick up a new board, this one isn't half bad, especially if you're already a fan of Girl. Consolidated Skateboards Cartoon Skateboard Review

I got a new laptop, so now I can start going back to reviewing skateboard art, and random bs. I also bought an Enjoi cruiser with softer wheels, and it’s a lot of fun to cruise around my apartment complex I haven’t hit the skateboard park, but I will soon. As for today’s look, take a chance at getting the new line up from consolidated skateboards. As I try to create a Consolidated skateboards review, I’m thinking about how they were one of the main companies to be against Nike SB, and yet they didn’t get them to go away. I was anti Nike too, but hey, a new generation came in and we are going to have to deal with the changes, aren’t we? No matter what Consolidated skateboards review you look at, you’re going to have to take into account that they are a core skate brand, and if you support them, you support the older generation of skateboarding, and that’s a good thing. So here we go, 3 Consolidated skateboards review options.

Consolidated Skateboards Spring 2019 Review

Here we go, 3 new skateboards from consolidated skateboards, and I like them for what they are. They each symbolize the quality of skateboarding and branding that the company has been pushing for a long time. One look and you know what brand it is. You really don’t need to ready any Consolidated skateboards review because, honesty, you either get it or you don’t. That’s where I’m going to leave it, right there.

Bacon Skateboards Review: Bacon Photograph Skateboard Series Decks

Bacon Skateboards Review: Bacon Photograph Skateboard Series Decks

Bacon Skateboards comes out swinging, and it's quite the interesting series for the brand. Bacon Skateboards always put out quality wood, and feature some crazy graphics. However in this case, they put out options that are photographic, and are somewhat more akin to something that Stereo Skateboards, or Element Skateboards would put out. This is definitely a good option to pursue, and something that you will want to pick up. I picked up a series of these decks, since I'm the only idiot in Indianapolis repping Blind and Bacon for some reason.

With this series of skateboards Bacon skateboards puts together a good set of wood that is going to help you get into any mini ramp, pool, or street course with relative ease.

Check out this series by Bacon Skateboards and pick them up with the links I provide, or don't, what the hell? Skate or die!

Bacon Skateboards Spicy Adventure Jungle Deck Skateboard Deck Review

Bacon Skateboards Spicy Adventure Series

Bacon skateboards comes at you with another great deck. This skateboard deck is part of the "Spicy" Adventure series, and I for one love it. Here's a little throwback to a classic horror and science fiction classic, the Island of Doctor Moreau. At least that's what I think about when I see this one, but of course, you could see this in a different manner. I like it. The series is a throwback to classic pulp fiction and things of that nature.

Bacon skateboards has great decks, they are made of hard wood, and they are often wider than the most average of street boards. I ride vert a lot with them, personally. This is part of a great visual design series, and Bacon skateboards is a top notch board company from the Pacific Northwest. This is a great board, and one to collect or like me, ride.

Bacon Skateboards Spicy Adventure Isle Of Monsters Deck Skateboard Deck Review

Bacon Skateboards Spicy Adventure Series

Oh snap, Bacon skateboards unleashes their "Spicy Adventure" series with another classic design. This time around you get a little throw back and a knife in view. If you have seen the rest of the decks, and I know you have, if you follow this site, you are going to love the noise that is coming out of the Northwest from these guys. Bacon has done something really cool, and if you want to ride them, or collect them, the boards are collectively good, and impressive to say the least. Bacon skateboards has released a nod to pop culture, pulp fiction, comics, and horror all in the same breath.

The board itself is good, has great concave, lightweight, and strong. It's more of a hesher style if you ask me, but it works for street. I usually can't land every trick, but with the boards from Bacon, i've been able to do a lot more than usual, and I think it's the wide widths that they have, but maybe it's cause I ride a lot of Bacon. Who doesn't love Bacon? Another great board.

Bacon Skateboards Spicy Adventure Lord Of Death Skateboard Deck Review

Bacon Skateboards Spicy Adventure Series

Bacon skateboards has released another classic deck if you like me. This time around they mix the old vintage pulp magazines, horror focus, and much more. Bacon Skateboards "Spicy Adventure" series once again focuses on throwing together some stellar graphic design, and a board style that you would expect from the Bacon company. Bacon skateboards out of the Pacific Northwest again does well with their boards. This one gives me a King Kong or black and white horror movie, science fiction throwback.

The boards themselves, are quality, hard wood, good concave, and easy to pick up and ride. It's lightweight, strong, and I for one use them more for vert than I do for street. However, if you like street, Bacon has you covered with another quality skateboard deck.

Bacon Skateboards Spicy Adventure Serpent Lady Skateboard Deck Review

Bacon Skateboards Spicy Adventure Series

Bacon skateboards once again comes through with something fascinating for me. They put out a series of skateboard series called "Spicy Adventure", and well, here's the first one that I saw, and was absolutely getting, because it has a very cool art style. The deck features a serpent lady coming up and controlling those that are looking her way, and the Bacon Skateboards logo is on it. This seems like it's straight out of a pulp comic book from the 1960s. I love the art direction here.

As for the skateboard deck itself, it's what you'd expect. It has rock hard multiple ply construction, good concave, and your standard street skateboard style. I do notice that Bacon boards are great for more than just street skateboarding, though, as I use it on a mini ramp, or rather use theirs on mini ramps a lot, as they usually come a little wider than most. However, this is great.

Girl Skateboards Mouse Skateboard Deck Review

Girl Skateboards Mouse Skateboard Deck

Girl Skateboards has been putting out quality wood for a long time, and today, they’ve once again put forward a great option. This time around you’re going to see that they are throwing back to their original VHS release of “Mouse”. If you recall that video, it was one of the better street skateboarding videos to come out at the time, and it was a classic before it ever got the bestseller status. If you were looking for something tech, Girl had it, and they did it so well. Even today, Mouse is an incredible skateboarding video.

But what about the board? Well, Girl Skateboards here puts together a good deck for collectors, or for anyone that is looking for 7-ply wood construction, good pop, and nice concave. It’s the overall good Girl Skateboard branding, and of course, a throwback too. It’s strong, it’s light, it’s Girl Skateboards, what do you expect? I love the throwback here.

Girl Skateboards Gold Fish Skateboard Deck Review

Do you remember when you used to have to buy or rent skateboarding videos? In the 1990s, a series of videos came out from Girl skateboards that would change the course of skateboarding as we now see it. One of the premier videos was none other than Gold Fish. Well, here’s a skateboard that goes back to the world of girl’s early days, with the gold fish skateboard deck that reminds us all of the classic skateboarding video that introduced the girl skateboards team into something new.

The technical elements of this girl skateboards deck is as you’d expect. There are 7 ply wood construction elements, strong concave, double kick, strong graphics, and the modern layout that you’d come to know from girl skateboards. Girl Brophy Man Eater Skateboard Deck Review

Another Brophy deck on display here, and it’s more artistic than other boards from the Girl Skateboard company. I’m used to seeing a lot of attention on the literal girl log, and it looks like something you’d see on the front of a bathroom somewhere. With the release of the Brophy Man Eater skateboard deck, you get a croc eating the Girl skateboards logo, and it’s something that is definitely worth looking into overall.

As far as the tech that goes into the girl skateboards branding, you’ll find that there 7-ply construction, strong concave, classic popsicle style skateboard elements, and of course, the Girl branding. If you’re looking for a strong pro model, then this is a cool one to pick up from girl skateboards.

Girl Brophy DC Comics Painting Skateboard Deck Review

You may have already seen a lot of skateboards coming through from the Almost collaboration with Warner Brothers and DC Comics. However, you’re going to find that Girl Skateboards also had a few collaborations with artists that seemed to have comic books on the mind. That’s what you get with this pro skateboard deck for Brophy, another team member from the Girl crew, and it features a bit more art than the average Girl skateboard deck.

As far as the type of board, it’s 7 ply rock hard maple, pressed, sealed, and with good standard concave. You can’t go wrong with Girl, and the graphic is cool, until you rub it off from board slides, right?

Zoo York Skateboards Daniel Scales Genesis Part HD Skateboarding Video

Daniel Scales just made me a believer with his part for Zoo York skateboards. This is Scales' "Genesis" part. He has put on a showcase of pure talent, and dedication to the sport with this clip. 2 Killer Skateboards From Baker Skateboards

Baker Skateboards has a lot of decks out right now, but I ran into 2 that made me laugh. The first features Mr. Rogers on a skateboard, and the second features a Rasta drawing of Bart Simpson. Either way, you're going to find that these are a couple of skateboard decks that you're going to want to pick up.

You can buy Baker Skateboard decks by clicking here

Krooked Skateboards Artist Series Skateboard Decks Full Art

Krooked skateboards is one of the greatest brands for me. They have been deliberately doing things differently for so long, thanks to Gonz. Mark Gonzales has been able to transform art into skateboarding, and these decks all feature that sort of push forward. I love a lot of brands from the skateboarding world, but few of them capture the artistic elements that creative types possess.

With this series of skateboard decks, Krooked skateboards really puts on a showcase. The art is varied, comes from a lot of different perspectives, and talents. You can really get a feel for the brand with the series of decks that you will find here.

Up front you will get 3 Krooked skateboards, but if you click the jump, you will get 8 more. If you're going to look into skateboarding, and you want art for your wall, or you just want to ride some killer decks, then I recommend Krooked skateboards. For the art, for the love of skateboarding, these are amazing. You won't find another consistently stellar brand right now, at least in regards to art. Maybe Chocolate, maybe Deathwish, but consistently artistic?

It's hard to beat The Gonz and Krooked skateboards. Check out the art on these decks below.

Oh, and if you're interested in purchasing Krooked skateboards, click HERE, and order them directly to your door.

Doug Des Autels 100 Percent Skateboarding Montage HD Video

Doug Des Autels is one of my personal favorite skateboarders on Revive right now, and he kills it. He just released one hell of a montage featuring some Skatelab locals and himself killing it. I'm originally from southern California and can testify to how awesome Skatelab is. I never got to skate it, but these clips make me wish I was still living there.

Anyways, Doug Des Autels has a youtube channel called amskater, and he puts up awesome videos. Hit the jump and check out this latest skateboarding montage. It's so awesome.

How To Set Up A Darkslide Skateboard Video

How To Set Up A Darkslide Skateboard Video

If you're not following Revive Skateboards out of Cincinnati, you're missing out. Andy Schrock and his team have been putting out skateboarding videos for a long time, and they have made more of an impact than many of the mainstream skateboarding teams and brands out there.

Well in this video, after the jump, he shows you how to set up a skateboard for darkslides. Now, if you're an experienced skateboarder, then you know how you can do this trick with your grip tape placed correctly on. But this is a different option. Schrock does well here, and you owe it to yourself to check it out. Having a separate board just for Darkslides will save your main deck, that's for sure.
