Anti Hero Skateboards Review Year of The Pigeon Russo Deck Review

Well here we go again, it’s that damn Pigeon! The Chinese zodiac is getting a bit of a re-drawing as we see here the year of the Monkey is getting crossed out in favor of the pigeon and Russo’s pro model comes through for Anti Hero skateboards. The pigeon is holding a sharpie and has erased the monkey letters, and written over it. This little drawing is great, and it is part of the Pigeon zodiac series that the company has been producing.

This skateboard is 8.38 x 32.25 and it’s shaped like you’d expect from the brand. It’s a mix of street and vert style, and while it’s a bit wider than most of the decks I ride, it still has some decent pop, it’s lightweight, and the concave is good too. I like the wood grain on the bottom, the colors, and the pigeon is hilarious as usual. If you’re stuck between sizes, and you see this deck online or in your skate shop, go for it, Anti Hero is a good brand to go with. This is a classic skateboard, with good features, 7 ply hardwood construction, and solid graphic style if you care. It’s for street and park mix, not necessarily one or the other. Anti Hero skateboards does it again folks. I recommend this one.
