Element skateboards, as noted
yesterday, has teamed up with the MLB for limited edition Dodgers skateboard decks. With this one, the size is 8.0 x 32.0625, and you know, it feels good. Testing this one out was fun, and the pop again was nice. The concave is classic element style, and the 7-ply construction made for a strong cushion when I dropped off my car hood. If you’re already a fan of Element, then you know the shape well. I liked the 8.0 as much as the 8.25.
The only major difference for this deck is that the graphic says “For Life” rather than just having the Los Angeles logo. The MSRP of this one is around 50 dollars, and it really is a good board if you want to put in on the wall. I don’t mind the shape, and at 8.0 it’s a step up from my old 7.75 line up. It’s a solid deck, no doubt, but it’s for those that are diehard fans of the Dodgers, so it takes off a few points.
